Betty Godin of Fort Frances, ON Wins $10,905!

Riverside Foundation for Health Care is excited to announce that the winner of the August Riverside 50/50 electronic raffle is Betty Godin of Fort Frances, ON with the winning ticket number U-4503411. Godin takes home $10,905, with the same amount going to the Foundation. The draw was made Wednesday, August 31^st at 9:00am in the Foundation Office.

Unable to contain her emotions, Godin exclaimed ‘we really need this win right now!’ She went on to explain that her husband is currently undergoing chemo treatments and on top of that they are dealing with getting their house back into shape after being affected by this spring’s flooding. She stated it was the first time in a while that they were receiving a good call from the hospital. This isn’t the first time luck has been on Godin’s side. Her and her husband enjoy purchasing raffle tickets whenever they see them and were also the lucky winners of a motorcycle in the past.

To celebrate the Foundation’s 25^th Anniversary, there are some exciting changes to the September raffle with more ways to win. Three $250 early bird draws will take place on September 9^th, 16^th and 23^rd with one each being sponsored by West End Motors and Westland Insurance. In addition, purchases at the $40 ticket level will receive a bonus 250 chances for a total of 500 chances to win!
