Shelley Hyatt of Alberton ON Wins $11,175!

Riverside Foundation for Health Care is excited to announce that the winner of the June Riverside 50/50 electronic raffle is Shelley Hyatt of Fort Frances, ON with the winning ticket number R-4394698. Hyatt takes home $11,175, with the same amount going to the Foundation. The draw was made Monday, May 31^st at 11:00am in the Foundation Office.

 Hyatt has been supporting the raffle for some time now, stating that it’s a great way to support Riverside. Being a resident of Alberton where a suspected tornado touched down on Monday evening, luck was on her side twice; having missed the tornado and winning the lottery. She plans to have a new deck built with her winnings and has indicated that she is going to make a donation to the Foundation. In addition, just because she won, she won’t stop supporting the lottery and already has her tickets for the June draw.

 This jackpot marked the fifth draw in the Foundation’s current monthly series of raffles. Since the Foundation’s inaugural electronic 50/50 raffle, over $360,000 has been given out to community members. All proceeds from the monthly 50/50 raffles help support health care close to home with funds being used to purchase much needed medical equipment for Riverside Health Care Facilities.

 Tickets for the May raffle are available now at www.riverside5050.ca or by calling the Foundation Office at 274-4803 to arrange for offline sales. The Foundation is excited to announce that the $40 ticket bundle which gives purchasers 250 chances to win has been reintroduced. Tickets are 10 for $5, 20 for $10, 100 for $20 or our best deal of 250 chances for $40. A $500 early bird draw sponsored by West End Motors and Westland Insurance will take place Wednesday, June 15^th at 11:00am. Ticket sales for the jackpot close Thursday, June 29^th at 9:00pm with the draw taking place Friday, June 30^th at 11:00 am.
