Albert Desrosier of Rainy River ON Wins $11,220!

Riverside Foundation for Health Care is excited to announce that the winner of the April Riverside 50/50 electronic raffle is Ab Desrosier of, Rainy River ON with the winning ticket number Q-8014859. Desrosier takes home $11,220, with the same amount going to the Foundation. The draw was made Friday, April 29^th at 11:00am in the Foundation Office.

 A dedicated purchaser, Desrosier has been calling the Foundation office to order tickets every month, having only missed the first 3 monthly draws. With 4 adult children, he said it won’t take long to spend his winnings. Desrosier stated that there are so many raffles in the area to support and likes knowing that the Riverside 50/50 goes towards helping local health care. He doesn’t plan to stop purchasing tickets any time soon and already has his May tickets in hand.

 This jackpot marked the fourth draw in the Foundation’s current monthly series of raffles. Since the Foundation’s inaugural electronic 50/50 raffle, over $360,000 has been given out to community members. All proceeds from the monthly 50/50 raffles help support health care close to home with funds being used to purchase much needed medical equipment for Riverside Health Care Facilities.

 Tickets for the May raffle are available now at www.riverside5050.ca or by calling the Foundation Office at 274-4803 to arrange for offline sales.  Tickets are 10 for $5, 20 for $10 or our best deal of 100 for $20. A $500 early bird draw sponsored by West End Motors and Westland Insurance will take place Wednesday, May 18^th at 11:00am. Ticket sales for the jackpot close Monday, May 30^th at 9:00pm with the draw taking place Tuesday, May 31^st at 11:00 am.
