There will be two series of raffles.

The first series will take place online from November 22, 2021 to December 31, 2021. Ticket sales starting at 8:00 am on November 22, 2021 to December 30, 2021 at 9:00 pm. Draw to take place on December 31, 2021 at 11:00 am. The draw for the first early bird prize will take place December 3, 2021 at 11:00 am. All tickets purchased between November 22, 2021 to December 3, 2021 at 10:59 am will be entered into the first early bird draw. The draw for the second early bird prize will take place December 10, 2021 at 11:00 am. All tickets purchased between November 22, 2021 to December 10, 2021 at 10:59 pm will be entered into the second early bird draw. The draw for the third early bird prize will take place December 17, 2021 at 11:00 am. All tickets purchased between November 22, 2021 to December 17, 2021 at 10:59 pm will be entered into the second early bird draw. The draw for the fourth early bird prize will take place December 23, 2021 at 11:00 am. All tickets purchased between November 22, 2021 to December 23, 2021 at 10:59 pm will be entered into the second early bird draw.

  10. Draw #10 Ticket Sales – starting at 11:30 am on September 30, 2022 to October 30, 2022 until 9:00 pm. Draw to take place on October 31, 2022 at 11:00 am. This draw will have a winning prize half of the sales. The draw for the early bird prize will take place October 19, 2022 at 11:00 am. All tickets purchased between September 30, 2022 to October 19, 2022 at 10:59 am will be entered into the early bird draw.

  11. Draw #11 Ticket Sales – starting at 11:30 am on October 31, 2022 to November 29, 2022 until 9:00 pm. Draw to take place on November 30, 2022 at 11:00 am. This draw will have a winning prize half of the sales. The draw for the early bird prize will take place October 19, 2021 at 11:00 am. All tickets purchased between October 31, 2022 to November 16, 2022 at 10:59 am will be entered into the early bird draw.
    1. Early Bird Prize: $500

2. All tickets will only be sold to people who are 18 years of age or older.

3. Must be in the province of Ontario at the time of purchase.

4. Tickets are 20 for $10, 100 for $20 or 250 for $40.

5. Tickets will be available online at riverside5050.ca or in office at 110 Victoria Ave, Fort Frances ON, P9A 2B7.

6. Tickets will be sold using electronic raffle system supplied by Ascend Fundraising Solutions.

7. After buying tickets online, patrons will receive a confirmation e-mailed to them with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. After buying tickets in person, patrons will receive physical tickets with 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System printed using a handheld device provided by Ascend. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.

8. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw.

9. The amount of the 50/50 will be displayed at riverside5050.ca.

10. The winning number will be announced on www.riversidefoundation.ca, on the Riverside Foundation for Health Care Facebook page, and through a media release sent to Fort Frances Times and B93 Radio. If information about the winner is collected at time of sale, the winner will be contacted directly.

11. The winner may claim their prize by contacting Riverside Foundation for Health Care at: (807) 274-4803, or by email at: [email protected]. The ticket may then be brought to 110 Victoria Ave, Fort Frances, ON at an agreed upon time for ticket verification. The winner will then be paid by cheque for the amount posted at the event for which they bought their ticket. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies. All payments will be made by cheque.

12.  The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchase for.

13. The winner must provide his/her name, address, and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet.

14. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of the total sales for that draw. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.

15. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will kept in a safety deposit box and held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to a charity other than Riverside Foundation for Health Care with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

16. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draws:
Any paid employees of Riverside Foundation for Health Care and any volunteers that sit on the Riverside Foundation for Health Care Board of Directors or Special Events Committee.
